Robert Haukoos (pronounced ho'kus)
Robert Haukoos is the founder and president of RJ Lauren, Inc. and
is an expert Business Development Consultant with over 20 years
of marketing experience. Bob is a frequent speaker on marketing
and business development topics.
Before forming RJ Lauren, Bob was the Vice President of Programming
and Production for FMS, an advertising agency specializing in direct
response television. At FMS Bob produced over 70 lead-generation
television shows and the most successful financial-planning advertising
campaign ever. He also supervised production of the very first Tony
Robbins infomercial, and produced infomercials for Think and Grow
Rich, Denis Waitley, Brian Tracy, Mark Victor Hanson and many other
motivational speakers.
Haukoos also has extensive experience in the Hollywood entertainment
industry. Bob produced and coordinated advertising and promotions
for over 160 television stations as Promotion Director for Group
W Productions "Hour Magazine." He has also worked with
ABC, CBS, NBC, the Minnesota Vikings, the National Hockey League
and many top celebrities including: Tom Hanks, Demi Moore, John
Forsythe, Robert Wagner, Superbowl Quarterback Joe Thiesmann and
many others.
A gifted writer, Bob wrote the story for "Getting Gotti",
a CBS television movie and his first book of fiction; "The
Player, Life is a Gamble" is now available through Barnes and
Noble.
Haukoos has studied advertising and marketing at UCLA and the University
of Minnesota. He graduated with honors from the Department of Defense
Information School and served as a Navy Journalist on the Armed
Forces Radio Network in Guam. Bob is married and spends his time
golfing, studying karate and coaching youth roller hockey in the
Malibu Canyon area of Los Angeles County. He named the company RJ
Lauren after his triplet children.
